The Simsbury Trojans basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Hall Warriors to 37 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avon for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 23. Simsbury will battle a Falcons team coming off a 62-43 league win over Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT). The Lions enter the Central Connecticut - West Colonial contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Northwest Catholic ran past Hartford Public (Hartford, CT), 92-54, in a non-league contest.
