The R-S Central Hilltoppers basketball team (Rutherfordton, NC), was nudged 66-63 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC)

The Blue Devils now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Veritas Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 27. Brevard will confront a Warriors team coming off a 66-47 league win over Christian Family Academy (Hickory, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 7-1.

The Hilltoppers (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Draughn was nudged by Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC), 76-66, in a non-league battle.
