In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Mid-Pacific Institute Owls basketball team scored a decisive 56-35 triumph over the Kauai Red Raiders.

In their next game, the Owls meet the Moanalua Menehune (Honolulu, HI) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 21. Mid-Pacific Institute will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Menehune enter the match with a 3-11 record after their 55-32 non-league loss to Kamehameha Maui (Pukalani, HI).
