In Wednesday's non-league outing, the University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), by a margin of 73-49.

The Hawks (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, East Chapel Hill was trounced by Durham Academy (Durham, NC), 70-64, in a non-league outing.
