Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) and the host Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), saw Blackhawk's basketball squad knock off Union Area by a tally of 50-30.

With the victory, Blackhawk improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA) to battle the in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 21.
