New Mexico High School Basketball - Valley nudges Las Cruces

December 20, 2023: Las Cruces, NM 88001

Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM), 42-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Silver (Silver City, NM) to clash with the Fighting Colts in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Fighting Colts go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Silver lost 63-18 in their recent non-league bout against Clovis (Clovis, NM)

Next up, the Bulldawgs clash with the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Las Cruces will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Pintos go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 76-14 non-league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM).
