New Mexico High School Basketball - Valley ripped by Sandia

The Sandia Matadors basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Valley Vikings to 21 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Matadors now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Las Cruces for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Sandia will battle a Bulldawgs team coming off a 63-34 non-league win over Silver (Silver City, NM). The Bulldawgs record now stands at 1-1.

The Vikings (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Atrisco Heritage Academy triumphed over Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 74-49, in a non-league contest.
