The Cibola Cougars basketball team (Albuquerque, NM), dropped 59-41 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM)

The Vikings now possess a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bernalillo for a 4A District 6 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Valley will confront a Spartans team coming off a 64-30 league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 10-11.

The Cougars (2-19) will now prepare for their battle against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars come into the 5A District 1 battle with a 7-13 record.
