The Carolina International Comets basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks to 43 in the Comets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory Ridge for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Carolina International will play a Ragin' Bulls team coming off a 72-71 non-league win over Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Marvin Ridge falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Huss (Gastonia, NC) to play the Huskies in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 4-2.
