December 20, 2024: New Wilmington, PA 16142 The West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA) basketball were winner over the host Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA), 49-37 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Big Reds now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cochranton for a District 10 Region 2 bout on Monday, December 23. West Middlesex will play a Cardinals team coming off a 70-41 league win over Jamestown (Jamestown, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Wilmington falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Brookfield (Brookfield, OH) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Brookfield lost 58-52 in their recent league bout against LaBrae (Leavittsburg, OH)
