The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) and the visiting North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV), observed Churchill County's basketball team knock off North Valleys by a score of 47-38.

The Greenwave (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Miners come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Bishop Manogue lost by Douglas (Minden, NV), 72-60, in a league battle.

The Panthers now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reed for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 26. North Valleys will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 55-39 non-league loss to Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Raiders record now stands at 3-5.
