The Lovejoy Leopards basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting McKinney North Bulldogs to 42 in the Leopards league triumph on Friday.

The Leopards now have a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Lamar for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Lovejoy will confront a Panthers team coming off a 46-37 non-league win over Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, McKinney North falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a 5A Region II District 9 game on Friday, January 3. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 11-5.
