Virginia High School Basketball - Nansemond River nips Deep Creek
December 20, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23323 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Nansemond River Warriors basketball team scored a close 50-44 triumph over the Deep Creek Hornets.
The Warriors (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA). The Skyhawks enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, L.C. Bird was nudged by Manchester (Midlothian, VA), 78-51, in a non-league match.
The Hornets now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kecoughtan for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28.
