Michigan High School Basketball - Catholic Central can't hold off Marion

The Marion Eagles basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the host Catholic Central Sabers to 37 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mason County Eastern for a West Michigan D contest on Wednesday, January 4. Marion will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 39-21 non-league win over Baldwin (Baldwin, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-3.

The Sabers (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Central Lake (Central Lake, MI). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record.
