The Mount Miguel Matadors basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Sweetwater Red Devils to 51 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Matadors now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoover for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Mount Miguel will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 74-47 non-league win over La Jolla (La Jolla, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-3.
