New Jersey High School Basketball - Elizabeth thwarts Linden

The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ) and the host Linden Tigers (Linden, NJ), observed Elizabeth's basketball team knock off Linden by a score of 71-58.

The Minutemen (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ). The Paladins come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Paramus Catholic prevailed over Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ), 59-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Payne Tech Lions (Newark, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, December 22. Linden will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 55-51 league win over East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ).
