In Thursday's non-league match, the host Valley Christian Academy Lions basketball team scored a decisive 42-18 triumph over the Coast Union Broncos.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Coastal Christian Conquerors (Pismo Beach, CA) in a Coast Valley match, on Tuesday, January 3.
