The Valley Union Blue Devils basketball team (Elfrida, AZ), was nudged 37-34 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Desert Christian Eagles (Tucson, AZ)

The Eagles now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morenci for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 28. Desert Christian will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 49-30 non-league win over Duncan (Duncan, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.
