In Friday's league outing, the Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA), by a margin of 62-49.

The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Edison (Elmira Heights, NY). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Edison was beaten by Watkins Glen (Watkins Glen, NY), 66-50, in a league outing.
