California High School Basketball - North Tahoe falls to Yerington

December 22, 2023: Tahoe City, CA 96161

In Friday's league match, the visiting Yerington Lions basketball team scored a good 51-41 triumph over the North Tahoe Lakers.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 27. Yerington will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Vaqueros enter the match with a 8-2 record after their 71-52 non-league win over Lake Mead Academy (Henderson, NV).

With the defeat, North Tahoe moves to 5-7 on the year. The Lakers travel to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV) to meet the Mustangs in a 2A Northern match on Friday, January 5. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 2-9.
