The Porter Ridge Pirates tipped the host Ardrey Kell Knights basketball team by a final score of 56-53 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 2. Porter Ridge will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Redhawks enter the game with a 2-4 record after their 55-24 non-league win over Central (Pageland, SC).
