The Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) basketball knocked off the host St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC), 56-46 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Golden Tornadoes (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Screaming Eagle go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Ashley went down by Laney (Wilmington, NC), 48-22, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to South View for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 3. St. Pauls will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 62-28 non-league loss to E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 4-3.
