North Carolina High School Basketball - Cary Academy nudges St. Thomas More Academy

Cary Academy Chargers (Cary, NC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors (Raleigh, NC), 45-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cary Academy upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Chargers travel to Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC) to clash with the Ravens in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Ravens go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Ravenscroft won 61-38 in their recent non-league bout against GRACE Christian (Raleigh, NC)

Next up, the Chancellors clash with the Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. St. Thomas More Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 39-15 non-league loss to Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA).
