Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bucktail can't hold off Northern Potter
December 27, 2024: Ulysses, PA 16948 Northern Potter Panthers (Ulysses, PA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Bucktail Bucks (Farwell, PA), 60-58 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Northern Potter advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Friendship (Friendship, NY) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 1-3. Friendship lost 42-30 in their recent non-league match against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, NY)
The Bucks now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montgomery for a Midd-Penn match on Saturday, December 28. Bucktail will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 66-63 league loss to South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 4-2.
