Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bucktail triumphant over Austin
December 9, 2024: Farwell, PA 17764 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Bucktail Bucks (Farwell, PA) and the visiting Austin Panthers (Austin, PA), observed Bucktail's basketball team overwhelm Austin by a score of 67-43.
The Bucks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Muncy (Muncy, PA). The Indians come into the Midd-Penn challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Muncy trounced MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA), 52-23, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Oswayo Valley Green Wave (Shinglehouse, PA) in a North Tier challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Austin will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Green Wave come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 41-28 non-league loss to Bolivar-Richburg (Bolivar, NY).
