Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), 59-46 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Wheatmore upgrades its record to 5-7 on the year. The Warriors travel to Madison (Marshall, NC) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 4-5. Madison lost 57-47 in their recent non-league match against Lexington (Lexington, NC)

The Golden Eagles now sport a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Davidson for a 1A/2A Central Carolina match on Saturday, December 28.
