The Longhorns (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Odem (Odem, TX). The Owls come into the 3A Region IV District 29 challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Odem edged Goliad (Goliad, TX), 59-51, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Centurions encounter the Geneva Eagles (Boerne, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 5 challenge, on Friday, January 3. John Paul II will attempt to improve on its 3-17 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 19-3 record after their 63-61 non-league win over Covenant (Dallas, TX).
