The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Richmond Red Devils (Richmond, IN) and the visiting Purdue Polytechnic Techies (Indianapolis, IN), observed Richmond's basketball team edge Purdue Polytechnic by a score of 65-60.

The Red Devils (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 13-0 record. In their last challenge, Alexandria-Monroe edged Eastbrook (Marion, IN), 58-13, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Techies encounter the Marion Giants (Marion, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. Purdue Polytechnic will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Giants come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 56-44 league loss to Kokomo (Kokomo, IN).
