John Ehret Patriots (Marrero, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Riverdale Rebels (Jefferson, LA), 76-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, John Ehret upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to New Orleans Charter Science & Math (New Orleans, LA) to play the Chambered Nautilus in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Chambered Nautilus come into the bout with a record of 2-2. New Orleans Charter Science & Math won 60-37 in their recent non-league bout against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA)

Next up, the Rebels play the Grace King Fighting Irish (Metairie, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 68-64 non-league win over International (New Orleans, LA).
