Wright (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host John Ehret Patriots (Marrero, LA), 55-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wright upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The travel to Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Archbishop Rummel lost 59-44 in their recent non-league bout against Radnor (Radnor, PA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. John Ehret will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 69-49 non-league loss to Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA).
