December 28, 2022: La Crescent, MN 55947 La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN), 69-56 in a league bout.
With the win, La Crescent upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Lancers travel to Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Albert Lea won 82-70 in their recent non-league bout against St. Charles (St. Charles, MN)
Next up, the Panthers play the St. Charles Fighting Saints (St. Charles, MN) in a AA Section 1 bout, on Thursday, December 29. Pine Island will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Fighting Saints go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 82-70 non-league loss to Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN).
