The Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) basketball felled the visiting West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA), 64-51 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Spartans (3-6) will now prepare for their test against West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA). The Titans go into the WPIAL 4A 4 test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, West Mifflin thwarted Connellsville (Connellsville, PA), 74-47, in a non-league test.

The Indians now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Chartiers Valley for a WPIAL 5A 4 test on Tuesday, January 3. West Allegheny will encounter a Colts squad coming off a 52-49 non-league win over Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA). The Colts record now stands at 9-0.
