Cromwell Cardinals (Cromwell, MN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mesabi East Giants (Aurora, MN), 64-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cromwell upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Proctor (Proctor, MN) to play the Rails in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Rails come into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Giants play the Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans (Nashwauk, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Mesabi East will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
