The Bland County Bears basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Giles Spartans to 32 in the Bears non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bears now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rural Retreat for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Bland County will battle a Indians team coming off a 37-28 non-league loss to Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Indians record now stands at 2-4.
