West Virginia High School Basketball - John Marshall ripped by Bridgeport
December 28, 2023: Glen Dale, WV 26038 The Bridgeport Indians basketball team scored 63 points and held the host John Marshall Monarchs to 21 in the Indians league triumph on Thursday.
The Indians now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a Big Ten contest on Wednesday, January 3. Bridgeport will meet a Mountaineers team coming off a 69-36 non-league win over Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV). The Mountaineers record now stands at 4-2.
The Monarchs (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Barnesville (Barnesville, OH). The Shamrocks enter the Ohio Valley AAA contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Barnesville was routed by Buckeye Trail (Lore City, OH), 61-56, in a non-league contest.
