Maret Frogs (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Goretti Gael (Hagerstown, MD), 63-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Maret upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Frogs travel to Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD) to clash with the Gaels in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Gaels go into the bout with a record of 11-0. Mount St. Joseph won 93-64 in their recent non-league bout against Greenfield (Wilson, NC)

Next up, the Gael clash with the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD) in a MIAA A - Red bout, on Friday, January 5. Goretti will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
