In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Ashbrook Greenwave basketball team scored a big 68-45 win over the Palisades Pumas.

The Greenwave (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Gaston Day smashed Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC), 66-59, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pumas battle the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 30. Palisades will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Mountaineers come into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 66-59 non-league loss to Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC).
