Texas High School Basketball - Longview nips Marshall
December 28, 2024: Marshall, TX 75670 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Longview Lobos basketball team scored a close 32-29 triumph over the Marshall Mavericks.
The Lobos (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bullard (Bullard, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Bullard was tipped by Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX), 58-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mavericks battle the Jacksonville Fightin' Indians (Jacksonville, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 contest, on Tuesday, December 31. Marshall will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Fightin' Indians go into the contest with a 9-13 record after their 59-51 non-league win over Killeen (Killeen, TX).
