The Needles Mustangs defeated the visiting Spring Creek Spartans basketball squad by a final score of 81-68 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV) in a 2A Southern outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Needles will attempt to upgrade on its 14-0 season record. The Cougars come into the outing with a 1-3 record after their 49-7 league loss to White Pine (Ely, NV).
