The Needles Mustangs were victorious over the host Virgin Valley Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 71-56 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 28. Needles will attempt to upgrade on its 15-0 season record. The Spartans enter the outing with a 6-4 record after their 77-36 non-league win over Lincoln County (Panaca, NV).

The Bulldogs (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV). The Wolverines enter the non-league outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, West Wendover ran past Moapa Valley (Overton, NV), 74-59, in a non-league outing.
