Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Hancock holds off Calumet
December 28, 2024: Hancock, MI 49930 The Hancock Bulldogs ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the visiting Calumet Copper Kings to 4 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Novi for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. Hancock will play a Wildcats team coming off a 2-2 non-league Troy (Troy, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-2.
With the defeat, Calumet moves to 3-8 on the season. The Copper kings host DeWitt (DeWitt, MI) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-4. DeWitt lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Alpena (Alpena, MI)
