December 29, 2022: Rock Island, IL 61201 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Rock Island Rocks (Rock Island, IL) and the visiting Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers (Bradley, IL), saw Rock Island's basketball squad hold off Bradley-Bourbonnais by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, Rock Island improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Rocks travel to Peoria (Peoria, IL) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Peoria lost 64-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Brother Rice (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Boilermakers confront the Richards Warriors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Bradley-Bourbonnais will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 57-56 non-league win over Bulls College Prep (Chicago, IL).
