Giddings Buffaloes (Giddings, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lexington Eagles (Lexington, TX), 50-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Giddings upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Fayetteville won 58-52 in their recent non-league bout against Snook (Snook, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Bellville Brahmas (Bellville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Brahmas go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 57-33 non-league win over Weimar (Weimar, TX).
