The North Canyon Rattlers basketball team (Phoenix, AZ), was overwhelmed 58-24 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ)

The Firebirds now possess a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williams Field for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 4.

The Rattlers (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Verrado (Buckeye, AZ). The Vipers come into the non-league battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Verrado trounced Westview (Avondale, AZ), 38-36, in a league battle.
