Arizona High School Basketball - Chaparral overwhelms Desert Mountain

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) and the visiting Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), saw Chaparral's basketball squad wallop Desert Mountain by a count of 71-38.

With the victory, Chaparral upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Saints in a 5A Northeast Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Notre Dame Prep won 67-38 in their recent league challenge against Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ)

Next up, the Wolves play the Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ) in a 5A Northeast Valley challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Desert Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
