The Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Dawson Springs Panthers to 59 in the Blue Tornado non-league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Tornado now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union County for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Paducah Tilghman will meet a Braves team coming off a 65-43 non-league loss to Henry Clay (Lexington, KY). The Braves record now stands at 6-6.

The Panthers (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Maroons enter the District 7 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Madisonville-North Hopkins ran past Warren East (Bowling Green, KY), 71-69, in a non-league contest.
