North Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Norman Charter fells North Gaston

Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 65-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Norman Charter upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Knights host Robinson (Concord, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A South Piedmont bout on Friday, January 5. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Robinson lost 62-50 in their recent non-league bout against East Lincoln (Denver, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a 3A Big South bout, on Tuesday, January 9. North Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 60-46 non-league win over Bandys (Catawba, NC).
