Oregon High School Basketball - Lake Oswego knocked off by Mountainside
December 29, 2023: Beaverton, OR 97007 The Mountainside Mavericks basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Lake Oswego Lakers to 39 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mavericks now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sherwood for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 2. Mountainside will face a Bowmen team coming off a 57-47 non-league win over Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ). The Bowmen record now stands at 3-6.
With the defeat, Lake Oswego moves to 2-9 on the year. The Lakers travel to West Linn (West Linn, OR) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, December 30. The Lions enter the match with a record of 3-5. West Linn lost 71-58 in their recent non-league match against Jesuit (Portland, OR)
