Oregon High School Basketball - Mountainside ripped by West Linn
February 14, 2024: West Linn, OR 97068 The West Linn Lions basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Mountainside Mavericks to 58 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tigard for a 6A Three Rivers contest on Friday, February 16. West Linn will meet a Tigers team coming off a 63-47 league loss to Oregon City (Oregon City, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 2-17.
The Mavericks (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Southridge (Beaverton, OR). The Skyhawks enter the 6A Metro contest with a 20-3 record. In their last contest, Southridge triumphed over Jesuit (Portland, OR), 58-44, in a league bout.
