Oregon High School Basketball - Liberty holds off Mountainside
December 30, 2023: Hillsboro, OR 97124 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Falcons (Hillsboro, OR) and the visiting Mountainside Mavericks (Beaverton, OR), saw Liberty's basketball squad hold off Mountainside by a tally of 71-65.
With the victory, Liberty improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host Clackamas (Clackamas, OR) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Clackamas lost 66-40 in their recent non-league challenge against McNary (Keizer, OR)
Next up, the Mavericks confront the Sherwood Bowmen (Sherwood, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Mountainside will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Bowmen come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 57-47 non-league win over Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ).
